Local Lib Dems have selected Stuart Bailey to be their canditate for Yateley East ward for the elections to Hart District Council on May 3rd. Stuart who is the sitting councillor and has represented the ward for the last 10 years has already been out and about canvassing support for the upcoming poll. “My campaign and that of other Lib Dems standing for election in Yateley, will be based on our record of providing all the year around action on local issues for local residents. We have some major challenges to face as a town over the next few years particularly in light of the recent change in planning rules which has meant that already planners are dusting of maps to see if there are more places where significant numbers of houses could be built in and around Yateley”.
