For the last two years yateley has been plagued by a continual stream of lorries delivering buiding waste material to land of Sandhurst Rd. Whilst the lorries have had an impact across Yateley the residents of Sandhurst Road and Kings Glade have had to bear the brunt of the worst of it with constant debris and mud falling on the road. The planning permisson for the waste site was time limyed to end of March and a number of us were not surprsied when the owners of the land handed in an application to further extend the site.

The County Council is required to consider this application, and they have put up a site notice, and notification letters have been sent to local residents. In the meantime the County Council have given local Lib Dem councillors assurances that they have told the landowner and operator that they will not permit lorries to continue to import material without planning permission and will take the appropriate enforcement action.
