This weekend 16th/17th January, Yateley Town Council are providing an opportunity for real Christmas Trees to be recycled. Trees can be dropped of in the car park next to the Tythings and Town Council offices at any time on Saturday or Sunday. The trees will then be shredded and spread across council owned land. The recycling service was originally planned for last weekend but was postponed because of the snow.

If you live in the Wordsworth Ave or Aylsham Way areas of the Town you should have recieved a card through the door from members of St Peter’s church who will be offering a free tree collection service. The church have been collecting trees for several years as part of their involvement in the local community. If you live in this part of the Town please leave your tree in front of your house for collection from 10 am Saturday morning.
